i am finished with step 5 for Bonnie Hunters on line Mystery have all the tiny bits finished tomorrow comes the putting the blocks together i think tomorrow Bonnie is back from Arizona and will give us the finishing instructions take a look here for the finished top sometime this week

Quilt Guild Show

this weekend is our Guilds Show i worked yesterday for 3 hours selling Handmade items at the Bazaar it;s a lot of fun meeting all kinds of people and hearing all the different comments some people appreciate anything handmade and others should just stay home oh well anyway here is a Quilt that was really outstanding what a lot of work and patience

Boy i am so busy have not posted for some time we just have to many Dr appointments ,

then by the time i get home after New York traffic i am so tired that quilting time is getting cut short .

but i managed to almost finish this cute little Wall- hanging i am quilting it by Hand while DH is getting all excited with his RED SOX

i have been busy making quilts and had not time to post finished my charity quilt for my Guild and also finished a wall hanging from the German Site "Faulengraben"those are done quilted and bound, next i am finishing a swap exchange from the now defunct "Fairiegodmothers yahoo group "will post a Picture as soon as i get a new Camera my Camera went kaput oh Boy what kind should i get getting all nervous thinking about that

this is another one of my Stashbuster quilts very easy and fast i am working as fast as i can

i have so many bins full of strings so i have to start some serious stash busting this one cleaned out a lot of them but it's almost funny it made just a little dent in OK i just have to keep on going

great Idea

i am still working on my Rattlesnake Quilt finished all the Paper pieced blocks , what a pain to remove all those little bits of paper, i tried a towel on my lap but still those pieces where all over so..... ta da ,, this is what i came up with, so great everything stays in the bucket the pieces don't fly all over it"s amazing look at it

what a surprise i got my RR today from a very nice and caring person this was a group I belonged to which is no longer active.
this took 1 year.
It leaves a bad taste if People don't stand by there commitment

thank God my new computer is up and running after a few adjustments i really did not know i would miss it so much.oh but it is great,much faster and many new features have been added since my last one but still much to learn so i will take my time . now lets see if i can upload a picture on the new quilt i am working on this is paper pieced from a pattern from Karen Stone the name is Rattlesnake so far i like it hopefully it wont become another UFO

a new Computer

Wish me look today i am getting a new Computer "INSPIRON 537" by Dell ,the one i have now is a "XP 2000" was a very good one, but it's 5 years old and starting to give me trouble .
Oh i hope all will work out and i will know how to work with it .
I also hope all my software will be working and it wont be to difficult, my very dear friend Annie is coming over to do it, she is so smart but i am still worried .
i will keep you informed

Knitting again

i somehow hurt my back it it restricts my sewing/quilting time i am going to physical therapy but it will be a while before i am able to sit for a long time ,also summer is starting the Pool will be open this weekend so knitting is a very portable Craft that goes everywhere

i saw "Nancy from wyomingbreezesblogspot she posted a sweater kitted from the top i used to make them years ago so here is mine all done but for the zipper

this Top was just a little to small so with the leftovers and there where many Like Bonnie's enders and leaders i made some more Pinwheel's blogs sewed them on to Strips and added them to the Borders now the quilt went from 72 x 92 to a 79 X 100 size this is more like it take a look.

i made a whole bunch of Potholders and i am knitting Socks that the Grandchildren like to wear in the House, but take a look at those blue Socks they are for DH he wears a size 15

today was supposed to be a nice sunny day but it is very grey and dreary so i made myself a new spring bag ,it has lots of inside pockets for the
Cell +Bluetooth ,Wallet ,3 pairs of glasses regular , sun and reading . DH always has to have his Meds handy pocket calendar for any new Doctors appointments pen a little folder for coupons and prescriptions 2 sets of keys pack of tissues Candy my god so much stuff ,,gone are the days when a little Bag was sufficient for Keys and Lipstick and Handkerchief

oh my it's snowing again ,we just made it back in time from the Dr.
Doctors every other day so it seems what a wonderful retirement the" Golden Years " i always thought when we retire we could go on some Trips, Shows, Museums or even Movies but no,, poor DH since his Hip replacement which now it seems turned in Pherphial Neuraphaty he can no longer sit to long walk to far or anything else always Pain seems to be his constant companion ,.BUT WE HAVE TO MAKE THE BEST OF WHAT WE HAVE oh well enough of the pity party

i finished all my blocks and layed them on my Floor i am a little hesitant about setting them on point but it looks so much better the way Bonnie did that i tried laying them out in a straight setting then i have to many of the Rolling Star Blocks left over so i guess here we go hate to do setting triangles oh well we shall see so here are the two layouts

I am sewing feverishly on those little 9 Patches they are so cute thank God it snowed last night and today is freezing cold we where supposed to go to dinner but i rather cook myself and this gives me ample time to sit and sew just love this time when i can be snugly in my room and sew Leni

I completed step number 1 for the Double Delight Mystery quilt such cute little 3 1/2 inch squares 138 of them i always come out with more only needed 120 but it's like cooking i always cook to much also., so tada here they are
